Criminal Defense Attorney, Michele Esparza was licensed to practice law in the State of Texas in 1987. For the first four years of her career she was an Assistant County Attorney and an Assistant District Attorney in Brazos County, Texas. As a Prosecutor, Michele Esparza successfully prosecuted a number of high profile cases including murder, aggravated sexual assault, crimes against children, kidnappping and aggravated robbery.
In 1992, Michele Esparza accepted an associate position with a distinguished local law firm and she achieved Board Certification in Criminal law in 1993. In 1999, she established her own law practice, which is dedicated to the defense of persons accused of crimes. She has successfully defended and tried to a jury a variety of cases and numerous high profile cases. The cases include capital murder, murder, sexual assault, child endangerment, drug cases, assaults and driving while intoxicated cases.
Michele Esparza is licensed to practice law in all State Courts, Federal Courts in the Southern District and the Western District, the 5th Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
Michele Esparza is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, The Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the Brazos County Bar Association. She currently serves on the Board of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Education Committee. She is active in her community having served on the board of a number of organizations.
